The proposed Granite Mountain Wind Energy Project (Granite Wind Project) would install 28 wind turbines and ancillary electric facilities on approximately 2,640 acres of pristine, virtually untouched public and private lands in the Granite Mountains between Apple Valley and Lucerne Valley in San Bernardino County.

The residents of Lucerne Valley, Apple Valley and surrounding areas OPPOSE this project!

Twenty eight 420 Ft. high wind turbines will be visible to many Apple Valley and Lucerne Valley residents. This will definitely affect the value of your house.

There are also concerns about the impact that construction, traffic, and visual pollution like the over head transmission lines will have on our communities. Deteriorating road conditions, noise, strobing lights, property devaluation, disturbance of wildlife, are just a few of the issues we are concerned with.

But most importantly, we are paying for them with our tax dollars.
