Tourists are attracted to the District's mountains and desert for a variety of activities, ranging from snow skiing in the winter to water skiing along the Colorado River. Fishing can be enjoyed at Lakes Arrowhead, Gregory, Silverwood, Big Bear, and many of the man made lakes. Five County regional parks lie within the First District (Calico, Moabi, Lake Greory, Morongo, and Mojave Narrows), truly a land to appeal to every age and interest.
